Mena Alexandera Suvari, born in 1979 is an American actor, model and fashion designer. She was born on 13 February 1979. After a brief period as a model in the fashion industry, she quickly transitioned to acting by appearing as guest actors on television shows like Boy Meets World in the 1990s, and High Incident. She had her first film performance in 1997's drama Nowhere. The actress made her way to important roles thanks to her performance as a character in American Beauty for which she received nominations for the BAFTA Award and American Pie each of which garnered more attention. She's appeared alongside the co-star of American Pie Jason Biggs in Loser (2000) and then played the main character on the screen in Sugar & Spice (2001). In 2002, she was a part in Spun the drama by an independent company and in 2004's thriller Trauma. The year 2004, she appeared in HBO's series Six Feet Under.
